Continue Pattern

  • Repeat Rows 1-6, ensuring you have a combination of hdcs, mesh dc, and qt treble rows until you reach your desired length. For the front piece, this should cover from the shoulder to just below the belly button.

Joining the Front and Back Pieces

  1. Shoulders: Lay the front and back pieces on top of each other, lining up the edges. Leave approximately 20-25 cm unworked in the middle for the neckline.
  2. Use slip stitches or a preferred joining method to connect the shoulder seams for 18 cm on each side.
  3. Sides: Measure approximately 20 cm from the bottom up for the armhole and mark with stitch markers. Connect the sides from the bottom to the marker.

Sleeves

  1. Join yarn to the armhole and work in rounds.
  2. Round 1: Hdc evenly around the armhole, placing 1 hdc in single crochet rows, 2 hdc in half double crochet rows, and 3 hdc in double crochet rows.
  3. Round 2 and beyond: Follow the body pattern of mesh and solid stitches, alternating colors and stitches as desired. Continue until the sleeves reach the desired length.

Finishing:

  1. Weave in all ends using a yarn needle.
  2. Add any additional details like brand labels.

Important Tips:

  1. Adjust the foundation chain count, ensuring it’s a multiple of the pattern repeat if you want a different width for the front and back pieces.
  2. Modify the length of the sleeves and body pieces to match your preference.
