Cardigan Panels:
Front Panels (Make 2):
- Start with 29 chains (approx. 18cm).
- Proceed with waistcoat stitch until you reach 73 rows (approx. 34cm).
Back Panel:
- Start with 81 chains (approx. 52cm).
- Continue with waistcoat stitch until you reach 73 rows (approx. 34cm).
Sleeves (Make 2):
- Start with 66 chains (approx. 40cm).
- Continue with waistcoat stitch for 104 rows (approx. 48cm).
Ribbings:
Bottom Ribbing:
- Start with 9 chains.
- Use half double crochet in back loops only until it’s 88cm long.
Cuffs (Make 2):
- Start with 11 chains.
- Use half double crochet in back loops only until it’s 18cm long or fits your wrist. Sew ends together.
Middle Ribbing:
- Start with 6 chains.
- Proceed with half double crochet in back loops only until it’s 93cm long.
Assembly:
- Sewing Panels: Sew the front panels to the back panel at the shoulders.
- Sewing Sleeves: Sew the short ends of the sleeves to form a tube and attach these to the armholes created by the front and back panel assembly.
- Side Seams: Sew the sides of the front and back panels together, as well as attaching the sleeves to the body.
Attaching Ribbings:
- Bottom ribbing attaches under the two front panels and the back panel.
