Making The Crochet Cloudy Mobile

Materials:

Grey cotton and acrylic blend yarn for the cloud
Blue cotton mix yarn for the raindrops
Black cotton yarn for the facial features
Crochet hooks (5 mm for the cloud and 4 mm for the raindrops)
Pillow stuffing
Needle for sewing
Scissors

Cloud Pattern:

Chain 7
Row 1: SC in 2nd chain from the hook, 5 SC in every chain, CH 1 and turn (6 SC)
Row 2-3: SC 6, CH 1 and turn (6 SC)
Row 4: 2 SC in first SC, 4 SC, 2 SC in last SC, CH 1 and turn (8 SC)
Row 5: 2 SC in first SC, 6 SC, 2 SC in last SC, CH 1 and turn (10 SC)
Repeat the increase and constant stitch process until Row 18
Decrease the stitches by doing 2 SC together (2sctog) and continue with SC till Row 31
Tie off work on the first cloud, leave the yarn on the second piece to finish off the cloud later.

For the cheeks:

Make a magic circle
Round 1: 6 SC, join with a slip stitch, CH 1
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch around, join and tie off

Sew the cheeks on either side of the cloud, stitch on the eyes and mouth using the black cotton yarn and needle.

Join the pieces:

With the yarn left on the second piece, SC around the two cloud pieces to join them and stuff with pillow filling.

Raindrop Pattern (Make three):

Make a magic circle
Round 1: 6 SC, join to first SC, CH 1 (6 SC)
Round 2: 2 SC in each SC around (12 SC), do not join, but keep working in the round
Round 3: SC around (12 SC)
Round 4: 2 SC together, 1 SC 4 times (8 SC)
Repeat this process until Round 8, then tie off, leaving enough length to attach the raindrops to the cloud.
