The following step is optional:

  • Cut a circle from the plastic according to the size of the bottom of the piece. The diameter of my circle is 2.5 cm. Stuff the piece tightly and insert a plastic circle to make the tree holds its shape well.
  1. (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
  2. (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
  • Change yarn to brown, cut the green one.
  1. FLO: 12 sc (12)
  2. 12 sc (12)
  3. BLO: sc3tog x 4 (4)

Stuff the trunk slightly, tighten the hole, and weave in the tail.

Branches:

  • Hold the base with the trunk away from you. Join green yarn to the free loops of the 2nd round.
  • Work in spiral rounds using the pattern: (ch 4, sl st in the following stitch) – repeat to the end of the 20th round.

-Sew beads around the branches. I made 4 rows of 3 beads in each one.

Decoration:

  • Fold the ribbon into a bow and sew it to the top of the Christmas tree.
  • If you want to use the toy as a Christmas tree decoration, attach a thread of yarn to the top making a hanging loop.

Congratulations! Your mini-tree is ready and will be a great addition to the collection of Christmas decorations.
